Children's Ministries (Kids' City)
On Sunday mornings we offer quality children's programming for infants through 5th grade, called Kids' City. In Kids' City, our mission is to help FAMILIES raise children
with a commitment to follow Jesus. . . Kids that regularly CONNECT with God, GROW with God and others, and LIVE out Christ’s mission to make the world a better place.
In Kids' City, we want every child to have fun while they learn key Biblical truths and apply them to everyday life. All of our children’s volunteers undergo a national background check to ensure that your kids are safe and secure.
Wiggle Way (Newborns to 24 months)
In Wiggle Way, your baby or toddler will experience the love of Christ through our caring volunteers. This area is well organized to meet the needs of your individual child. You can be assured that while you are in the service, your child will be safe, loved and well-cared for each Sunday.
Action Avenue (2 Yrs to 3 Yrs)
In Action Avenue your toddler will love the warm and fun atmosphere. This age group consists of the real movers and shakers! They get to experience music, crafts, snacks and an interactive Bible lesson.
Jumpstreet (4 Yrs to Kindergarten)
In Jump Street your children will learn Bible stories in an active and memorable way. They will learn Bible-based morals that will help them in the everyday life of a preschooler. Each child will build relationships with adults who reflect Christ.
Downtown (1st to 5th Grade)
Each curriculum is designed around age appropriate learning activities that the children enjoy in a small group setting. Children who attend Kids' City will need to be registered. You can register on Sunday mornings at our check-in tables. So, check your kids into KIDS’ CITY and check out all we have in store for them.
In Downtown your child will journey to exotic destinations in our simulated cockpit as we examine essential Biblical virtues. During our travel abroad, we learn scripture and a life point that is reinforced through drama ,arts and crafts, games, animations ,cool music and other creative teaching elements. We have a small group/large group format – which means kids will be in small groups with kids their age for most of the morning and then for a large group worship and teaching time when all of the different small groups will come together for a shared experience. The Downtown Sunday morning experience looks a bit like this:
- Opening Activity - Designed to introduce kids to the weekly topin in a setting that gives them individualized attention from their small group leader and plenty of interaction with a small group of peers.
- Takeoff and Landing - Designed to engage children in worship within a large group setting. Music, prayer, and an innovative approach to the Bible story are always a part of this interactive time.
- Hub Time - Designed to help kids understand how the day's topic applies to them. They will discuss real-life experiences, interact with a close-knit group of peers, and participate in a variety of activities that appeal to different learning styles.
- Connecting Flights - During this time, all kids will be part of fun hands on activities that review and reinforce the content of the lesson such as games, arts and crafts and working in their travel journals.
Each week the kids go home with a family devotional and if they bring it back completed, they can pick a prize from our treasure chest. Check you kids into Kid Fusion and check out how we go the extra mile for your kids!
